Genre Jam Podcast
For an online design group project, Noah Schmidt, Caleb Trepanier, Noah Dengin, and me (Kaley McIsaac) created a podcast called Genre Jam. The idea behind it was to have each guest pick their top 5 songs and explain why they chose them, as well as the personal significance each track holds. The podcast gives listeners a chance to hear the stories and memories tied to the music that shapes each person’s life. We produced a total of four episodes, each running approximately 10 minutes. I had the opportunity to be featured in three of them—one featuring my top 5 songs, another with Noah Schmidt’s picks, and the last one with Caleb Trepanier’s top songs. It was a really fun way for all of us to share a bit about ourselves through music, and it turned out to be a creative and meaningful way to wrap up our project.
